Interfaith Text Study

Wednesdays, 3-4pm, Heller Lounge/Multicultural Center in MLK Student Union

In this weekly study group, Rabbi Dorothy Richman of Berkeley Hillel and Reverend Shelly Dieterle of First Church of Berkeley, United Church of Christ guide the group in discussion and reflection using sacred texts and current social justice issues.

Come hear familiar and unfamiliar stories, share your thoughts, and learn from others. Various translations of the text will be provided. Healthcare, education, economy, poverty, genocide - what issues are pulling your heart strings and wreaking havoc in your gut?

Students of all faith perspectives and spiritual curiosities and experiences are welcome, including undergrads and grads.
