Social Media Intern at Fair Trade Judaica

Fair Trade Judaica seeking a creative self-starter to promote FTJ's mission through the development and executive of a social media strategy. This is an excellent opportunity for the right intern to gain valuable experience and to help shape a non-profit start-up committed to social justice in the Jewish community. Responsibilities include helping develop comprehensive FTJ social media strategy, and build and maintain Facebook cause page. Temple Beth Hillel, Richmond Seeks Religious School/Hebrew School teachers

Description: Temple Beth Hillel in Richmond, California is a small, down-to-earth and vibrant Reform congregation. We are seeking teachers for the 2010-2011 school year and beyond. Our religious school, Beit Midrash Hillel, is part of our congregation’s commitment to life-long Jewish learning and engages students and families in a warm and interactive Jewish learning environment with strong commitments to Torah, community and the State of Israel. We are looking for a warm, caring, and knowledgeable teacher who can communicate his or her passion about being Jewish and inspire children and teens to strong Jewish identities. Applicants should have experience working with children in a Jewish setting and have general knowledge of Torah, holidays, Hebrew, Jewish liturgy, culture, values, and history.

We are seeking a teacher or teachers for our combined 6/7 grade on Sunday mornings from 9:30 to 12:30 and one day a week, weekday afternoon Hebrew school from 4:00 to 6:00 PM.

Compensation is commensurate with skill and experience.
